Dubai Desert Safari Packages Compared, From AED 40 to AED 260
Blog Article
Picking a safari should be the easy part of your trip. But when you see ten different Dubai desert safari packages on one page, it's easy to get stuck. Do you need VIP? What's the point of a Hummer? Is a quad bike worth adding? We answer all of those questions below, in plain English.
At Dubai Safari Desert, we run trips all year round, from short sunrise trips to overnight stays. Here's how our packages compare, so you can pick the right one in a few minutes.
Start With Three Simple Questions
Before comparing prices, ask yourself three quick questions:
• Do you have a morning, an evening or a full night free?
• Would you rather drive yourself or be driven?
• Is comfort important, or are you happy with the standard camp?
Once you have the answers, the right package usually picks itself.
Evening Trips: Our Most Popular Choice
The evening is the most popular time to go. You get golden light on the dunes, a sunset stop and dinner with shows after dark. Every evening trip runs from roughly 2 PM to 9 PM.
Our Classic Evening Trip at AED 80
This is our best-value trip. The evening Dubai safari includes 4x4 pickup, dune bashing, a camel ride, a buffet dinner and four live shows. If you just want the classic desert experience, this is the one.
The AED 100 Evening Trip
For a little more, you get a few extras, like sandboarding and henna, along with a BBQ dinner and pickup in an air-conditioned car.
The VIP Trip at AED 120
Prefer a little more comfort? Our VIP Dubai safari includes VIP seating, a BBQ buffet and four live shows. The extra cost is small, and the evening feels calmer.
Premium Desert Safari Dubai, AED 230
If you want the top level of service, go for the premium desert safari Dubai package. It comes with premium service at the camp, and you can add a quad bike if you like.
Packages With More Adventure
Some guests want more than a ride in the back of a 4x4. These packages are for them.
Quad Bike Safari at AED 160
It's the full evening safari with a quad bike ride added. Timing is the same, about 2 PM to 9 PM, and groups of friends love it.
Buggy and Quad Bike Safari, AED 200
Can't decide between a buggy and a quad? Do both. The buggy and quad bike safari includes helmets and safety gear, with flexible timing.
The Hummer Trip at AED 140
Riding over the dunes in a Hummer feels very different from a normal 4x4. Our Hummer Dubai safari runs from about 2 PM to 9 PM, with the usual camp, dinner and shows at the end.
Early Starts and Late Nights
The Sunrise Trip at AED 140
Early risers will love the sunrise desert safari Dubai trip. It goes from around 8 AM to 11 AM, with photo stops on the dunes and water and soft drinks included. You're back by lunchtime, so the rest of the day is yours.
The Overnight Trip at AED 260
For the full desert experience, stay the night. Our overnight Dubai safari runs from around 2 PM until 9 AM the next morning. You get the evening programme, a night in the camp, stargazing and breakfast.

The Basics You Always Get
No matter which trip you choose, some things never change. Our camps follow a traditional Bedouin style, with low seating, soft lights and plenty of space. There are always veg and non-veg dishes at dinner. We confirm your pickup and drop-off 24 hours click here before the trip, so you know exactly when to be ready.
We also run trips from Abu Dhabi for AED 140, plus city tours of Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Hatta, if you want to explore more of the country.
How the Evening Goes
The trip starts with a pickup from your hotel in the early afternoon. After a while, the buildings disappear and the dunes begin. The driver lets some air out of the tyres, and then the dune bashing starts. The car goes up, over and down the dunes at angles that make everyone shout. It's a bumpy ride, but most people love it.
After that, there's a sunset stop on top of a big dune. From there, you head to the camp for a camel ride, dinner and live shows. By about 9 PM, you're on your way back to your hotel.
A Quick Word on Safety
Our drivers do this every day and know the dunes well. Seatbelts stay on the whole way. If you get car sick, eat a light lunch and ask for the front seat. If you're pregnant, have a bad back or have a baby with you, tell us when booking, and we'll help you pick the right trip.
